FIXnotes is a Philadelphia, PA based distressed mortgage investing consulting firm. Our business consists of two primary verticals: education & portfolio management with the mission of democratizing the secondary mortgage market in order to help investors buy/sell performing & non-performing mortgage notes across America.

Most homeowners in America purchase property by borrowing money from the bank. To make sure they get paid back, the bank has the borrower sign a Note (contract with terms promising to repay the money) and a Mortgage (the Security Instrument attached to the property). When a loan is “secured” it means that the home is collateral, giving the bank the right to foreclose and take back the deed to the property if the note isn’t repaid according to the terms.

In recent years, many homeowners (borrowers) have been struggling to pay their mortgage. Even the banks have been overwhelmed with the number of borrowers in default (failure to pay). Instead of foreclosing, many banks sell non-performing loans to investors instead of collecting themselves. This is the Secondary Mortgage Market.

As a point of clarification – this has nothing to do with “Mortgage Backed Securities”. FIXnotes works with “Whole Loans” – each Mortgage Note is a standalone investment, secured by one property & owed by one borrower.

We are seeking an Marketing Manager to enhance our brand across our target platforms (Email, YouTube/TikTok, FB/insta & LinkedIn). This team member will work closely with our CEO and play a pivotal role in maximizing our reach and nurturing our leads. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by optimizing our marketing processes and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Role Focus:

The Marketing Manager will be instrumental in improving our marketing processes and best practices. This role demands strategic oversight, meticulous execution, and strong leadership to ensure our marketing efforts are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and refine marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement across all target platforms.
  • Manage and optimize content creation and distribution, ensuring high-quality and timely execution.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with the company’s broader objectives.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
  • Oversee the management of marketing budgets, aiming for cost-effective solutions that maximize ROI.
  • Lead the marketing team, contributing to hiring efforts and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance marketing efforts.

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing management, demonstrating success in strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience building and maintaining high-performance teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in modern marketing software and tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Creator Studio, Podio, etc).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long-term marketing plans.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant marketing regulations and a commitment to continuous improvement.
